I don't know that the Homewood store has officially been sold to walmart as of yet. The last I heard was that the village refuses to allow walmart to build a gas station (just as they did when kmart wanted to) and that is holding everything up.

You can get a pretty interesting before and after conversion view of the former Super Kmart in Tinley Park on Google maps. You can go right into the parking lot.
